What we provide

Our calculators convert between amperes and kilovolt-amperes for common single-phase, three-phase, fixed-voltage, and DC-equivalent scenarios. Each calculator states the active electrical assumption and shows the formula used.

How to use the results

Use the results as a convenient calculation reference. Electrical equipment selection, conductor sizing, protective devices, and installation work must also account for local codes, manufacturer data, operating conditions, and professional engineering judgment.

Our publishing approach

We favor direct formulas, explicit units, and examples that can be checked independently. When a calculation depends on phase configuration or voltage measurement, the interface asks for that choice rather than assuming it silently.
